Butterfly4Volunteers offers internships at various hotels and restaurants across Kenya, including Mombasa. In a country where the summer lasts all year, it is possible to do a summer internship during or outside of the Dutch winter season. These internships provide you with the opportunity of doing so-called core tasks, and it is possible to be active within all work processes.

For example, you could be preparing dishes and drinks in the kitchen and then serve them in the restaurant or at the pool. You will be carrying out preparatory tasks and subsequent concluding tasks under the watchful eye of the chef. You will also come across the ordering and managing of the stocks.

For those who would like to do more, it is possible to do a research assignment or to introduce some new developments.
